Driver Escapes Pick-Up Truck Crash Into Pond In Lititz: Police

A driver escaped after their pick-up truck crashed into a pond on Tuesday afternoon, Northern Lancaster Regional Police announced.

Details about the crash have not been released but somehow the driver, and their pick-up, ended up in a retention pond along West Millport Road in Warwick Township on Jan. 2.

"The driver was able to exit the vehicle with assistance and will be treated by responding EMS crews," NLCRPD said.

Officers remained on the scene as of 2:25 p.m.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information "related to this accident" is asked by police to call the NLCRPD at 717-733-0965.
